Armor (shield), legendary (requires attunement by a Paladin)
While holding this Shield, you have a +3 bonus to Armor Class, in addition to the Shield’s normal bonus to AC.
Frostfire Tempest. When you activate your capstone ability, you summon a 5-foot radius storm of fire and ice. This storm is centered on and follows you for the duration of your capstone ability. Creatures that enter the storm for the first time on a turn or begin their turn in it must make a DC 16 Constitution saving throw or take 2d6 fire damage and 2d6 cold damage. Creatures take only half damage on a success.
Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
