Weapon (greatsword), rare

Wyrmbane is an imposing weapon, forged from an ancient, obsidian-black steel with a gleaming edge that seems to shimmer under the light. Its hilt is adorned with intricate, intertwining dragon claws that curl fiercely around the grip, their sharp talons acting as a menacing handguard. These claws are meticulously crafted, each scale and curve adding to their lifelike presence, while the dragon's eyes gleam with a faint, mystical glow.

Along the blade’s surface, etched into the metal, are glowing amethyst runes in an ancient draconic script. The runes pulse softly with an ethereal energy, shifting in colour as they seem to come alive in the presence of the wielder. These runes are not just decorative—they carry powerful enchantments, binding the essence of dragons into the very fabric of the weapon. The words etched along the blade are said to be an ancient incantation, passed down through the ages, granting the sword its strength and its connection to the legendary creatures.

The blade feels balanced and alive, as if it hums with an inner power, ready to unleash its fury in the hands of a worthy wielder. The combination of dragon claws and amethyst runes gives this sword a mystic, otherworldly aura, making it as much a symbol of strength and magic as a formidable weapon in battle.

It is said that through the wielder completing draconic trials, and if the sword deems them worthy, more of the runes can be activated, improving the abilities of the sword.
