Words is both a 15" feather pen and an ellusive dart. Straight and firmly composed, the feather displays a steely impression, as if it was laminated. It is never short of ink and it is a sharp pointed pen.
You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. Apart from that, whenever Words do damage, the ink it secretes in its target acts as poison, dealing 2d4 psychic damage during 3 turns and additionaly whenever the Bard uses the Cutting Word ability.
If paired with Sticks & Stones, can be used to create Child-rhyme.
Proficiency with a Dart allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
