This blade hungers for the life force of the dark magic wielders whom first crafted it. There's almost a sentience to the blade's thirst. The more the blade feeds off of the blood of those it despises, the stronger it's thirst will become. Its thirst will be quenched, whether it is the target, or the wielder. Upon attacking an enemy who is not a construct or undead, the target takes an additional 4 necrotic damage on a successful hit. Upon inflicting this damage, the user will roll a constitution saving throw of 12, and if failed, will lose 4 health, but if they succeed, they gain 4 temporary health.
Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
Notes: Damage: Necrotic, Bonus: Temporary Hit Points, Healing, Damage, Combat, Heavy, Two-Handed, Graze
