The axe is made of a glossy obsidian scattered with peaks and edges that contain galaxies within. This axe is the very pinnacle. Use it well.
The user's initiative is increased by 10 and he or she gains an additional attack per action.
This axe deals an immense amount of damage as well as inflicting an extra effect based on what creature is hit.
Normal Creature: Target creature must succeed a DC 14 Con save or be permanently injured. Injury reduces AC by 2 as well as another effect determined by the DM. This can be remedied with Greater Restoration.
Undead Creature: Any attack on an undead creature will cause an explosion in a 5 foot radius. The user may designate who is affected by the explosion. Creatures caught in the explosion must make a Dex Saving throw or take 3d8 [radiant] damage or half as much on a successful one.
Fiend Creature: Fiends that are attacked by this weapon must make a DC 17 Con save or be stunned. Additionally, they are unable to access their fear domains for one minute.
Proficiency with a Battleaxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
