While touching this crystal orb, you can cast Scrying (save DC 17) with it. In addition, the crystal orb contains a creature identical to a Goblin Minion except in the following ways:

• The goblin's size is Tiny.
• The goblin does not wield any weapons.
• The goblin knows the spell Vicious Mockery, and can cast it at will.

The goblin is an ally to you and your allies. In combat, if you are touching the crystal orb, the goblin shares your Initiative count, but takes its turn immediately after yours. It obeys your verbal commands (no action required by you). If you don't issue any, it takes no Actions, Bonus Actions, or Reactions and moves around aimlessly inside the crystal orb.

The goblin disappears when it drops to 0 Hit Points. If you spend a Short Rest attempting to attune to the item, the goblin reappears with all of its hit points.
