Weapon (longbow), rare (requires attunement by a ranger in tune with nature)

When releasing an arrow from this bow you may choose to expend a charge (3/dawn) to give the shot the following options

1. Roll a d4 and add it to the to hit modifier, however this action can only be chosen before the result of the attack us revealed

2. On a successful attack, vines sprout from the area of impact to grapple the target (DC 15 DEX), the target may attempt to remove the vines but succeeding the save on their turn. Effect of the grapple may vary depending on area hit and the target.

3. Cast hunter’s mark as a bonus action without expending a spell slot. This casting of the spell does NOT require concentration, the rest of the spell is as per normal. 

Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
