Weapon (greataxe), very rare (requires attunement by a Must have been exposed to Purple Worm blood to wield this axe)

This formidable axe once belonged to Throdal, the warrior whose legendary battle against a monstrous purple worm earned him the title of "Wormsbane." The weapon's design pays homage to the Roc, the great predator of the purple worm, its wings unfurled into the spur as if frozen in mid-flight. Inlaid within the steel are traces of the worm’s corrosive blood, a permanent testament to the battle that forged its legend. But this axe is not for the faint of heart—only those with unshakable resolve can wield its power without succumbing to its weight, both physical and mythical.

While using the Attack Action with this weapon the target takes an additional 1d6 acid damage once each round on a hit. If a critical hit is rolled the target's AC and resistances are ignored for that hit and the target takes 3d6 acid damage instead of 1d6 as the edges corrosive bite cleaves through armor. After 5 critical hits the axe's blade becomes too corroded to use and crumbles.

Proficiency with a Greataxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.

Notes: Damage: Acid, Damage: Acid, Must have been exposed to Purple Worm blood to wield this axe, Heavy, Two-Handed, Cleave
