While wearing this ring, you can turn invisible as an action. Anything you are wearing or carrying is invisible with you. You remain invisible until the ring is removed, until you attack or cast a spell, or until you use a bonus action to become visible again.

Posted Sep 6, 2020I’m trying to pick random magic items to describe as daelkyr creations so I’m better at that if I ever get to run an Eberron campaign.
“Belashyrra created a mere handful of these rings studded with tiny eyes, curiously darting about. If you stumble upon one, its aberrant power over vision can corrupt the eyes of your onlookers, effectively removing you. It’s said that the Lord of Eyes itself sees through the ring’s eyes, but there are so many variations on the specifics that the whole myth is too unreliable to take as fact”

Posted Sep 8, 2020Sounds good, I would probably add that it bores into the skin and fuses with the body during attunement like other daelkyr items

Posted Sep 8, 2020It’s only some that do that. At one point in E:RFtLW (I think the Khyber section) it just says you can describe anything differently with no mechanical alteration to make it a daelkyr item, and in Exploring Eberron there are some that don’t.

Posted Feb 7, 2021Question: If you tried to Dispel Magic on this, could you "end the effect" by dispelling the effect of the invisibility or would you need to target the ring to disable the ring from being able to make you invisible?
edit: how our DM handled it, the effect can be dispelled if you can target it (we had some see invis up and he made our druid make a hit with disadvantage, which she succeeded at!), and it will drop the effect, but unless the ring itself is targeted, it can just be enabled again. So, that was our table rule.

Posted Feb 7, 2021well you would have to be aware of the effect and then i believe you would have to target the ring
