I am in the same campaign as Tsukiyomii and while I do agree with everything said I do have something of my own to add. This is specifically for the new players reading this ad and anyone else who is maybe rethinking showing interest due to the price tag.... When I joined the campaign I was brand new to DnD, Orcan's game was my first interactive experience, and let me tell you I don't regret paying to play. Orcan is incredibly patient and understanding when it comes to new players learning the ropes. He helped me learn the game, giving clarification when needed, as well as what my character is capable of doing (even though I don't always remember to make use of those things when I should). His dedication to his game, the world, the plot, is par to none. Even though these 12 sessions are just the tip of the iceberg he has already fully seated multiple character's backstories into the plot and I couldn't be happier with the game. As an avid reader and hobby writer, this is one of the better stories I've had the pleasure of coming across and I cant wait to see what's next!
I'm interested and I'm cool with that day and time. I'm a new DM and a temp campaign would be great for me to get my feet wet with. I have a homebrew that can easily be roleplay heavy. Also cool with starting at a higher level.
I host on Discord but I'm not currently paying into a subscription on Roll20 or other similar sites so things would largely be theater of the mind, although maps will be provided.
if you are interested in me you can reach me here or on discord @Baz#3366
I'm new to DnD but have experience managing freeform/freestyle play-by-post games. I switched to DnD because in the other style people would get really butthurt about their character taking damage or were really inconsistent with what their character was able to do. I'm finding more and more that I like DnD better.
Did you have any preference, other than casual, on what kind of game you want to play?
I haven't paid into Roll20 yet so I wouldn't be able to give you that. Discord is my comfort zone, would that be acceptable? I can post maps but most everything else would be theater of the mind.
Are you going to look for more players or would it just be you two?
My name is Basil/Baz. I'm 24. As for experience I've participated in and managed several freeform roleplays for about 10 years but I'm new to DnD and would like to learn more about dice based rp
