My knowledge of multi-classing is very very limited at the moment, but these combinations sound awesome.  

The only downside I saw is that I was hoping my stat priority to be more DEX then STR. But if there isn't a way around that then that's life.  

Just reading about the Eldritch Knight as well with would be cool mixed with a paladin. I Just not sure if its Dex or STR.

Yer I hadn't thought of those cross-skills. But I think the barbarian rage would act like metamorphosis. I lik The blood hunter spend health with a crimson Rite

 I'm wanting to create a demon hunter which plays like a tank in Wow. So far I am coping the base kit of the blade master fighter (I like the manoeuvre dice) but will add a few spells such as infernal strike/... what is missing: is the fury or pain aspect to it to mitigate dmg: or metamorphosis and evade.
