I'm an experienced player but haven't played in a good while. The two characters I'm interested in playing are a human barbarian and a goblin rogue. I enjoy games that feel very grounded or dark fantasy but I also enjoy a good old high fantasy romp. I'm fine doing an original campaign or a pre-made adventure. Lost a player and need to fill a spot? I'll read whatever lore I need to to catch up with the party before starting.
Lost Mine of Phandelver is a module in which the players are hired by a dwarf as escorts for a wagon of supplies, before being pulled into a larger adventure. I am DMing this particular module in order to get to know the new batch of players, but will be incorporating a few twists into the story. Once completed, if the group vibed well together, we can either move onto a new campaign or continue the adventure.
Exact game time will depend upon the players, but I am available from 1pm-10pm est on Mondays. New players are welcome, but I ask that everyone keeps at least a semi-serious attitude for their characters. Official content only (no Critical Role or unofficial subclasses/races), Unearthed Arcana is allowed so long as it fits with a high fantasy setting. Point Buy will be used for stats, and any method of character sheet is allowed so long as information as accurately recorded. I personally use a few minor Homebrew rules that I feel add a bit more depth to the gameplay, such as crit tables and reduced casting time but these rules are usually barely noticeable.
About the DM: I am a 21-year-old trans woman with four years of D&D experience as both player and DM. I tend to go for darker narratives, but in this case, will try and stick to a slightly whimsical high fantasy tone. I am hoping to find similar people close to my age to play with on a regular basis.
If you are interested in being part of a new LGBT play-group, please send me a message about yourself to see if you might be a good fit. I look forward to hearing from everyone.
I am a 21 year old trans woman open to any system, though of course I'm most likely to find 5E here. I have varying levels of experience with 5E, SWRPG, V5, and MoTW. I learn games very quickly so even if I'm unfamiliar with a system, it shouldn't take me too long to learn it.
I have several years of tabletop roleplaying experience, and consider myself fairly good at it (beyond non-American accents). I typically play serious characters from a wide variety of classes and backgrounds. If needed I can fill in for a needed role, and if not, I am most likely to go Fighter or Wizard. For non-D&D games I am much more of a wild card with classes.
I enjoy dark fantasy the most, but high fantasy and low fantasy are both great. I'm even fine playing non-fantasy or very grounded games. I can make a character fit in with the tone of the world/campaign well, whether they're a superhuman hero, maniacal villain, or someone just trying to get by.
I prefer games with an equal mix of combat and role-playing, and so far have found that online exploration hasn't peaked my interest. Maybe that will change with a good DM though.
It has always been a dream of mine to play an all-evil party, but this is not an expectation or requirement that needs to be fulfilled.

I would strongly prefer to play than DM, but if needed will. I am free on Mondays and Tuesdays, between 12pm-8pm EST.
If DMing, I typically have a small amount of homebrew and use crit-tables in place of the usual full damage crits. I enjoy telling (and experiencing) dark stories, with a decent mix of both roleplaying and combat.
As a player, I get very invested in my character and act entirley as I think they would. I'm open to most settings
I have the game, but unfortunately no one to play it with. The Lost Mine of Phandelver is fully on there, so it would be the easiest for me to DM. However, if somebody else wants to DM, I would be glad to play a character.
I'm free pretty much all of the time, except for late at night/early mornings, and Saturday evenings.
The game will be played over Discord on a weekly basis, voice chat is required. Most likely it'll be hosted on Saturdays or Sundays. Primarily looking for players in their 20's. If you're under 18, don't bother messaging.
The tone is supposed to be serious, but there's always room for light-heartedness when appropriate.
As this is a beginner friendly game, Homebrew content will be kept to a minimal, if allowed at all. That said, all official classes/races/backgrounds are allowed, if you want to play say, a full Orc Artificer.
No real-world bigoted language/behavior will be tolerated, you'll be instantly blocked.
No rules lawyering. It's a game, not a competition.
No playing licensed/parody characters. Make something original, don't just play Matt: Monolith Technician or Conan The Barbarian.
Don't argue with DM decisions or try and DM over me.
I'm 20, and would preferably like to play with others in their 20s.
I have moderate D&D experience as both DM and player so I can do either. If I do DM, it may end up being a weird/experimental campaign though. I also really want to be a player in a serious campaign.
I'm free any day of the week at almost any time, though that'll change in August (weekends will still be open).
I don't mind a bit of comedy but I want actual roleplay and a serious story, along with a fair amount of combat. I have a character waiting to go who is a Fallen Aasimir and Eldritch Knight, though I don't mind making a new character to better fit the campaign. Despite being experienced as a player I don't know most D&D lore but will gladly learn whatever I need, or your original lore. I will not put up with discrimination or 'offensive humor' of any type, so don't waist my time.
Game: DND 5E Group preferred: Online (Discord) Experience: Any Timezone: EST Availability: Weekends, starting at 2 PM DM: Myself, a Trans woman. Preferred amount of players: 3, in addition to the two I already have Game style: A mix of roleplay and combat
About the campaign
Road to Rust takes place in a world heavily based off the IDW continuity of Transformers comics, with inspiration coming from other continuities as well. An expansive lore document (nearly 9,000 total words) has been prepared for any information one may have, though it isn't expected to be memorized, and instead serves as a tool to craft your character and understanding of the world. The campaign will start with the players (both Autobots and Decepticons) being forced to come together due to events outside their control, and for better or worse be stuck together as new threats reveal themselves.
I'm a trans woman DM with a campaign ready to go on weekends. However, it's a Homebrew campaign set in the Transformers universe where you play as Cybertronians. Anyone (queer) interested in this, DM me @ adeadfreelancer#2851 on Discord
I created a custom Cybertronian race for a Homebrew campaign, but my players discovered that it doesn't come with any language options, not even Common. I eventually added a Racial Option that is supposed to add Common and one other language. However, it only adds Common to the Decepticon Subrace, leaving Autobots language-less and Decepticons only possessing Common. This is despite me adding it to the parent Race, not the Subraces.
So I'm planning a campaign set in the Transformers universe, already have a custom race with subraces for Autobots and Decepticons. I just need some Race Traits for both of them, and am looking for suggestions.
