Posted Sep 19, 2024The Monster Manual has not been released yet; that's why we can only see the PHB monsters. I'm sure the rest of the Basic Rules monsters from the MM will be released alongside that book early next year.

Posted Jan 1, 2025How should I read that multiattack block? Tiger can pounce then retreat up to half move -- does the 'prowl' count against the 40ft move budget, or is it additional (giving a total of 60ft if the tiger attacks)?

Posted Jan 10, 2025My philosophy on things like this is that "the item does what it says it does and nothing more". If the writer wanted to grant them extra movement, they'd have specified extra movement. In fact, other stat blocks and ability descriptions do.

Posted Feb 5, 2025Woah, what happened to the Tiger's Prowl? It used to be able to take the disengage and hide actions for free after making an attack, now it can only do one. Where is the PHB version?
