Diabolical Restoration. If the erinyes dies outside the Nine Hells, its body disappears in sulfurous smoke, and it gains a new body instantly, reviving with all its Hit Points somewhere in the Nine Hells.
Magic Resistance. The erinyes has Advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Magic Rope. The erinyes has a magic rope. While bearing it, the erinyes can use the Entangling Rope action. The rope has AC 20, HP 90, and Immunity to Poison and Psychic damage. The rope turns to dust if reduced to 0 Hit Points, if it is 5+ feet away from the erinyes for 1 hour or more, or if the erinyes dies. If the rope is damaged or destroyed, the erinyes can fully restore it when finishing a Short or Long Rest.
Multiattack. The erinyes makes three Withering Sword attacks and can use Entangling Rope.
Withering Sword. Melee Attack Roll: +8, reach 5 ft. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 4) Slashing damage plus 11 (2d10) Necrotic damage.
Entangling Rope (Requires Magic Rope). Strength Saving Throw: DC 16, one creature the erinyes can see within 120 feet. Failure: 14 (4d6) Force damage, and the target has the Restrained condition until the rope is destroyed, the erinyes uses a Bonus Action to release the target, or the erinyes uses Entangling Rope again.
Parry. Trigger: The erinyes is hit by a melee attack roll while holding a weapon. Response: The erinyes adds 4 to its AC against that attack, possibly causing it to miss.

Why did they lose the longbow??? Also is it natural armor or is the 18 AC still just because of Plate armor? Aside from the loss of a ranged attack that isn't once per turn like the rope, I like the improved HP and love that the rope is actually included and useful now. Plus having necrotic instead of poison damage means that they don't just auto lose to any demon in the blood war.
In a book full of cool art, I think this art is some of the coolest. The glowing red armor and flames with the blue magical rope is so dope.
They've done away with specifying where the AC comes from, but according to the 2014, Erinyes, it does have Plate Armor. A bit odd it's not included in the "Gear" section, unless it also disappears when the Erinyes dies due to Diabolical Restoration.
It looks like the armor is built onto it. That makes more sense for a devil, who shouldn't rely on gear.
This artwork is amazing and one of my favourites.
Again a buff o +7 on Initiative is very nice, same goes for 5 hp more. Sadly they lost their WIS bonus save.
His rope has now 90 hp has way more range, a higher save and does dmg now. A weapon hit deals 5 dmg slashing more and necrotic instead of poison (2 less thou). Lost a bow but his rope has way more range no so it's fair change.
Can't wait to use them and see what they can actually do in a fight
