The only large beast with a fly speed in the 2024 Monster Manual - druids and polymorphers, this is your go-to!
Because this image is from the Giant Ape art of it fighting Giant Bats.
Why is this not a celestial??? Just an oversight?
It's not a Celestial because it has a beast-like intelligence of 2, and no languages. The Giant Eagle, Giant Elk, and Giant Owl were reclassified as Celestials because the 2014 versions of Giant Eagle, Giant Elk, and Giant Owl had INT 7+, understood languages, and had their own species language (though now all three speak Celestial)
Giant Bat from King Kong.
Lost Keen Hearing and Echolocation, and the Bite attack's damage was changed from 5(1d6+2) from 6(1d6+3), implying that it's now Dex based instead of Strength.
Give those bats back their Echolocation, please. That is the only fusion trait that would be carried over.
The bat has blindsight. That should cover the echolocation trait, rules wise.
