Does the Giant Eagle being Celestial mean a Druid can't Wildshape into them anymore? Because that stinks. :(
This was a really great Wildshape for carrying party members and being useful in aerial combat.
Not just Wildshape. That rules out spells like Polymorph too.
The Giant Elk and Giant Owl are classed Celestial too now.
Why is the image of this monster not found in the actual Monster Manual, but only on this specific page?
Because it doesn't have art in the Monster Manual, this is using the art from the 2014 MM.
What mentally infirm intern was allowed to make this creature a Celestial just to nerf druids (Yet again)? It baffles me to see such terrible design choices become official.
