Actions
Proboscis. Melee Attack Roll: +5, reach 5 ft. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) Piercing damage, and the stirge attaches to the target. While attached, the stirge can’t make Proboscis attacks, and the target takes 5 (2d4) Necrotic damage at the start of each of the stirge’s turns.
The stirge can detach itself by spending 5 feet of its movement. The target or a creature within 5 feet of it can detach the stirge as an action.
I think the automation on these is incorrect. It's doing necrotic with the attack and not adding an initiative effect for the sustained damage while attached
The necrotic is correct. In the new Monster Manual, necrotic represents any life-draining damage or effect, including blood loss.
Not sure what you're implying by an "initiative effect".
Art went from mosquito-bat thing to this terrifying thing. I like it.
why does it have so much charisma?
also could they swarm down and eat up commoners now? if so great way to kill NPCs-"The mosquito things ate the only blacksmith in a 5 mile radius. Sorry about your armor."
