Bugs we smashed
- Typing in a note on the AC override field no longer removes AC, breaking PDF export.
- Fixed an issue causing large distance values measured in feet from displaying miles with decimals e.g. Forbiddance (spell).
- Using “cast at spell level” field with cantrips will now scale off of character level and fixed an issue with cantrips not considering charges e.g. Wand of Winter’s Ray of Frost (spell).
- Unequipping an item in the inventory will now remove attunement benefits associated with the item.
- Spells attached to items now charge the proper cost depending on level cast e.g. Staff of Power Fireball and Lightning (spells).
- Homebrew spells on items specifying a “cast at spell level” value will now only cast at the specified level.
- Spells that are required to be cast at a particular level, are now represented properly on exported PDF, e.g. Staff of Power Fireball (spell).
- Players can no longer enter a negative number in a custom speed field on the character sheet.
- Class features that have a subclass or feat choice, no longer display a call to action when the character is not yet at the appropriate level.
Dang, a bug bash report two days ago AND this one? Thank you for the work y'all are doing!
I noticed that Tasha' Cauldron of Everything is not in the marketplace, despite it coming in 17 days. Is there something I'm missing, or is it just not available for pre order?
Tasha's Cauldron doesn't come out until November 17th. The next book release is Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden, on September 15th.
Can you guys address the spell scroll bug? I'm finding it difficult to be able to name what spell each scroll is, and if I have multiple scrolls of the same level, even if they are different spells, it's impossible to separate out. Thank you for constantly improving our experience!
Good work!
Oh,, ok.
Not sure if it's from the update or what but I play a death domain cleric and now Ray of Sickness doesn't show up in my spell options
In addition to that, it isn't available to pre-order yet because WotC isn't allowing digital pre-orders yet.
I bet it's not ready for digital sale because digital vendors have so much work do do to make the changes Tasha's brings. MASSIVE changes, huge coding differences.
It not being ready to be used wouldn't at all prevent them from starting selling it. The reason is because WotC isn't allowing digital pre-orders yet, as I said. This is literally what the D&D Beyond staff have been saying every time they've been asked the question.
Can I report a bug? The artificer has a button to press to apply infusions to weapons and on the battlesmith it incorporates his INT modifier into the attacks sheet. Can you do the same thing for the warlock HEX warrior (touch one item and it can use CHA modifier)
They do have that. Go to customize weapon and you can make a weapon your pact or hex weapon.
We still need some work done on Ranger's Favored enemies. Its only showing the most recent choices made, not multiple
TY!
How come when you update your equipment you can't get an updated character sheet when downloading the pdf?
Can I report a bug as well? With Toll the Dead, I can only choose to roll D10 for damage, it doesn't have a D12 option. Thanks!
Would it be possible for custom items (homebrew) to have dynamic features added that will affect the rolls?
E.g. custom armour gives +1 to spell attacks should affect rolls rather than needing to +1 manually
Looks like they've decided to just ignore the inability to show the Favored Enemies when you advance in level. It only show one and won't show all chosen as you advance.
[REDACTED]
I like the customization options that have been built it so far.
I'm gearing up for a campaign and need to do more customization for campaign sheets. I wasn't able to set up new counter fields for adding and subtracting from home brewed resource pools.
Any chance that such a feature is on the horizon? For this specific example, I'm setting up pairs of contrasting cleric domains for non clerics to gain and lose divine favor points in (they will be able to trade this favor at temples for blessings, healing, and enchantments)
Also, is it possible to set campaign specific character sheets for players starting in this setting? I have a few additional features I'm looking to play-test in our campaign.
I noticed that when I add the unearthed Arcana feat Eldritch Invocation it doesn't let me choose one.
