A few weeks ago, we received the first printed copies of Eberron: Forge of the Artificer. At first, everything looked great and met our production standards. But as time passed, a serious issue emerged: the covers began to warp. This was a defect that developed after production and wasn’t visible during initial inspection. 

After reviewing the full scope of the problem, we made the tough decision to recall and reprint the entire physical run. No copies with this defect will be shipped to customers. This is a complete reprint, not a patch job—and we believe that’s the right call. 

We know waiting isn’t easy, but to preserve the integrity of the experience and ensure a unified launch for everyone, we’ve aligned the digital and physical editions to the same timeline. This means both the digital and physical editions will now officially launch on December 9, 2025. Early access has been adjusted to match the new release timeline. 

November 25: Early Access for WPN Stores and D&D Beyond Master Tier Subscribers 

You’ll receive access (physical or digital, depending on the version you purchased) to Eberron: Forge of the Artificer two weeks early (November 25, 2025): 

• If you purchase from a participating Wizards Play Network (WPN) store; or 
• If you’re a Master Tier subscriber on D&D Beyond 

We are still confirming the release date for our European stores. 

December 2: D&D Beyond Hero Tier Access 

• Hero Tier D&D Beyond subscribers who purchase Eberron: Forge of the Artificer will get access on December 2. 

Pre-Order Bonus Content: WPN Stores, D&D Beyond, and Partner Virtual Tabletops 

We know many of you were looking forward to exploring Eberron. To make up for the delay, we’re going to offer a special bonus mini-adventure for all pre-orders. This Eberron adventure is our way of saying thank you for your patience during this unexpected delay. 

The mini-adventure will be available when you receive your pre-ordered product: 

• WPN store customers will receive a printed copy at pickup, while supplies last
• D&D Beyond pre-orders will receive a digital copy when the product goes live on the platform, based on subscription tier 
• Partner VTT users will receive a digital copy of the adventure on their respective platform 
• Other retailer customers will receive updates on how this adventure will be distributed
