Human Species Details
Found throughout the multiverse, humans are as varied as they are numerous, and they endeavor to achieve as much as they can in the years they are given. Their ambition and resourcefulness are commended, respected, and feared on many worlds.
Humans are as diverse in appearance as the people of Earth, and they have many gods. Scholars dispute the origin of humanity, but one of the earliest known human gatherings is said to have occurred in Sigil, the torus-shaped city at the center of the multiverse and the place where the Common language was born. From there, humans could have spread to every part of the multiverse, bringing the City of Doors’ cosmopolitanism with them.

HIP HIP HURRA!!!!!!!!
HIP HIP HURRA!!!!!!!!
Human variant is the new human -- It gets two origin feats, All other feats were moved to level 4.
You can still be a half elf, or half orc --- you just have to select either elf or human species trait, etc. to make a half-elf, or any other core class. So half-dwarf, half-orc would choose between being human or orc in terms of species traits. You can still describe how that affects you appearance by taking and mixing the appearance descriptions.
Tolkien did the same thing. Elrond and Elros were both half elves (brothers), when they came of age, they had to decide between being an elf or a human.
Elrond choose to be an elf.
Elros chose to be a human.
They still blended human and elven appearances. Which you do to make the kind of appearance to you want to make.
Humans are good idk
well duh if they had a short body their long ass legs would back up the difference.
I'm just not happy with being human. I have done research into other races and as far as I'm concerned, humans are beneath many. I am seeking a power or spell to be able to change my race, to become more powerful, more adept in mastering the power of fire.
humans are awesome you get a origen feat or your choice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Made my first Human Wizard!
I’m tough but fair, defender of earth and the underdog.
I'm one of the last.
Cool
I was creating a character and now I can’t return to my editor from here
Because Elves are already short
You still don't have Build Freedom
Your telling me it's better for your Ability scores to be tied to your background (and thus imply Farmers can't be intelligent or nobles can't be Durable) than just going w/ the initial Rule of Tashas where you just CHOOSE what you want and your background gave you a Feature that was great for Roleplay as opposed to mechanical.
Plus you still had Build Freedom w/ racial Ability Score Increases
You weren't Obligated to be a class that benefited from a racial ASI increase, you have stats that you should be rolling b4 choosing your race.
And at the Very Least Racial Tied ASIs gave you a Sense of The General Culture and values of that Race instead of just "Everyone is basically a human culture because we at Wotc have lost the Capability to be original and figure out what cultural practices these races might have"
Or at the very least they couldve kept Racial ASIs but listed them as "Recommended" or "Suggested" like so many 3rd party sources already do because they know it's better
I don't see why not
If your human comes from an interspecies family or is magical in any way
Hello maybe they just have unique genes that give them purple eyes
I know
It's honestly ******* tragic
Now when you play as a Half elf you just look like an Elf w/ human racial Traits or a Human w/ Elven racial Traits, it's complete and Utter bullshit
I'm human. I like dnd
