When Bayle was a child he saw hell. Not a portal to another realm or a vision, hell. That is the only way he describes the events that turned him into what he is today. He and his father were poor. his mother had died from illness recently and burying her was more than his father could handle, so he borrowed money form a loan shark. As the years went by the debt only increased. It got so bad that bayle had to help pick fruit for spare coin from the local farmer. But none of that was particularly bad. He had a house, a father and his pet bird, eel. Life wasn’t great but it was better than nothing. Until his tenth birthday. Father had taken him to see the inner city for the first time. It was magnificent. The markets and houses everywhere had been bewildering to Bayle. On their way home, they heard a deafening sound. Not quite an explosion but still concerning. Before they got home they saw a man in the alley. It was usual to see a homeless man wallowing about, bottle of wine in hand. But this was different, the man was missing his arm and he looked like he rolled around in mud. Then he turned around, and they saw the man. They both realized instantly what they were looking at was no longer a man. That was an undead. Inside the city walls. father acts quick, yelling for the guards and running home to safety. Then another realization came over him. How many were there? Why today? Suddenly, multiple ghouls were at the door. There was no escape, the guards wouldn’t be here on time. Bayle’s father did what he thought was best. He locked young bayle in the wardrobe and barricaded it from the outside. No matter what happened , he had to make sure  his only child would survive this. The door broke and what they saw scarred both of them. Along with two neighbors who had died recently, his mother was there, still wearing her white burial dress. Bayle had never prayed before, he was never taught how to by his parents. But even so he clasped his hands together and begged any god that was listening to stop this madness. Sadly, no god heard his pleas. He was forced to watch his father be savagely ripped apart while still alive by his own mother. He didn’t make a sound. His father had told him to be as silent as a mouse. But this was too much. He started to cry. The undead were to busy feasting on his father so his plight went unnoticed. It would be 3 days until the guards were able to rescue him. bayle would later find out that the sound he heard was a neromancy spell. That moment, bayle made a promise to himself. A promise to slaughter any undead abomination he sees. To hound and vanquish any necromancer, innocent or not. This was not a quest for vengeance, but of pure, unbridled rage.

There aren't any special feats you get for being Human in the 2024 rules. You might be thinking of the "Variant Human" species option from the 2014 rules, which got a feat of their choice at character creation. In the 2024 rules, all characters get a feat to start with that's specific to their Background.
