Homebrew Shapechanger Species Details
Obake (お化け) and bakemono (化け物) are a class of yokai, preternatural creatures in Japanese folklore. Literally, the terms mean a thing that changes, referring to a state of transformation or shapeshifting. (From Wikipedia)
Shapechanger Traits
As a shapechanger, you have the following abilities:Ability Score Increase
Your Dexterity and Wisdom scores increase by 1.
Size
When in humanoid form, you are a medium creature. When in anthropomorphic form, you are a small creature.
Speed
When in humanoid or anthropomorphic form, your walking speed is 30 feet.
Fey
Your creature type is fey, rather than humanoid.
Bakemono
You can use an action to shapeshift into your beast form, into a humanoid, or into an anthropomorphic (semi-humanoid) form halfway between the two. Your appearance in all three forms is hereditary just like any other race, and equipment you can wear in human or anthropomorphic form can be worn in either form. While in your beast form, you are transformed as if by the druid's Wild Shape feature, except you retain your hit points, and you can do so as many times and for as long as you like

You can speak, read, and write Draconic and one other language of your choice.
