Homebrew Zombie Species Details
You are a walking husk of yourself, with no brain and rotten meat.
Zombie Traits
You are dead and the memory of your death is faint. Yet your brain's capacity fainter.Ability Score
You are dead and even though you are a pile of rotten flesh, you can take a hit or two more. And on the same side you are less fun to look at with all that meat falling off your face.
Skill Proficiency
You go on instinct and thus is less convinced of lies and acts of others.
Darkvision
You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Resistance
You have resistance against Bludgeoning
Vulnerability
You are Vulnerable against Slashing and Cold Damage.
Deathly Visage
Your undead appearance is unnerving. You have disadvantage on Charisma (Persuasion) checks, however, you have advantage on Charisma (Intimidation) checks and you gain proficiency in the Intimidation skill.
Undead Fortitude
If damage reduces you to 0 hit points, you must make a Constitution saving throw with a DC of 5 + the damage taken, unless the damage is radiant or from a critical hit. On a success, you drop to 1 hit point instead.
Undead Nature
You are undead, not a humanoid. You don't have to eat, drink, or breathe. Furthermore, you are immune to poison damage and to the poisoned conditions. Instead of sleeping, you enter an inactive state for 4 hours each day. You do not dream in this state; you are fully aware of your surroundings and notice approaching enemies and other events as normal.
Zombie Healing
When taking a bonus action action in a round you can elect to spend one Hit Die to heal yourself. You can do this as many times in a day as you have Hit Dice left. Once you've run out of Hit Dice you must take a long rest to regain the Hit Dice.
Language
You cannot talk however, you can attempt a 3 word sentence which requires a DC 10 Int check. Can only be done once per hour.
