Homebrew Vampire Elven Species Details

Bloodthirst

As a bonus action, you may drain blood and life energy from a willing, incapacitated, or restrained creature. Make a bite (DEX or STR) attack against the target. You bite them on the neck and deal 1d6 necrotic damage. The targets hit points are reduced by the amount of damage dealt. You regain hit points equal to that amount. The damage is increased to 2d6 at 6th level, 3d6 at 11th level, and 4d6 at 16th level. Though you can feed as much as you wish you only can regain health once per short rest from this ability.

One with the Darkness

When you are in darkness you are invisible (unless the target has darkvision).  You can still be heard by noise however. 

Also when you deal a critical hit from the shadows , you also deal necrotic damage equal to half your level rounded down.

Vampire Elven Traits

Your elf character has a variety of natural abilities, the result of thousands of years of elven refinement.

Your Charisma score increases by 2. Your dex increases by 1.

Darkvision

Accustomed to twilit forests and the night sky, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

You can speak, read, and write Common and one language of your choice.
