A time bomb appears on a creature you point at within range. On your next turn, each creature in a 10-foot-radius sphere centered on that point must make a Dexterity saving throw. A target takes 1d10 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. If you hit the target with another time bomb on your turn you can set both bombs off early stunning each creature that failed the save for one turn.
The bomb will stay on your target creature if they move.
This spell’s damage increases by 1d10 when you reach 5th level (2d10), 11th level (3d10), and 17th level (4d10).

Only chance this is balanced would be if the creatures take no damage of successful save, otherwise is just a area firebolt for a cantrip, it should also say "On the end your next turn, each creature in a 10-foot-radius sphere centered on that point [...]". And yes i know where this comes from as inspiration.
It was for a league of legends campaign that had a higher damage need
