You create three glowing darts of magical force. Each dart hits a creature of your choice that you can see within range. A dart deals 1d4 + 1 force damage to its target. The darts all strike simultaneously, and you can direct them to hit one creature or several.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the spell creates one more dart for each slot level above 1st.

Shield beats magic missle
How would subtle spell interact with this spell, it doesn't sound like they need to come from your hand or anything so could you just create the glowing darts in a space you can see and they just get hit by three darts out of nowhere?
according to jeremy crawford you roll the damage once and each missile does that amount. coupled with the level 10 ability of the evocation wizard to add intelligence modifier to one die roll for damage it becomes 1d4+6 making absolute minimum damage on a level one magic missile a guaranteed 21 or 30 for max it can become quite deadly if used in this way
Yes, but there is an exception for Tarrasques. For a Tarrasque, the DM rolls a d6 and for 1-5 the Tarrasque remains unaffected, but if it's a 6, the Tarrasque remains unaffected and the spell is reflected back to the caster. Which is terrifying cause Tarrasque are scary enough 😂

It's 1d4+# not #d4
The symbol is cool
do dead creatures count for targeting of this spell? (corpses and such)
If I am a level 7 War Wizard and I have 7 enemies, can I use Magic Missile to hit the 7 creatures? Meaning one missile per creature. Also, would that hold true for the Wand of Magic Missile?
