Two arms manifest on a target within range. These arms are identical to the user's arms, though lacking adornment of any kind. These arms will attempt to grapple the target if said target is a creature. If the target is a surface or nonliving object that isn't being worn or carried, these arms can be controlled as though they were the caster's own, with the same physical capabilities as the caster's arms.
When this spell is used on an enemy, the creature must succeed on a Strength saving throw against your spell save DC or be restrained by the arms until the spell ends. The caster can choose to end this spell prematurely by having the arms attack the target to which they are attached, dealing 2d4 bludgeoning damage and freeing the target.
A creature restrained by the arms can use its action to make a Strength check against your spell save DC. On a success, it frees itself, taking no damage.
Should this spell be cast again on a different target while the first instance is still active, the existing pair of conjured arms will disappear.
For each higher spell slot level above 1st level, this spell can have 1 additional target.
