Until the spell ends, sleet falls in a 40-foot-tall, 20-foot-radius Cylinder centered on a point you choose within range. The area is Heavily Obscured, and exposed flames in the area are doused.
Ground in the Cylinder is Difficult Terrain. When a creature enters the Cylinder for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there, it must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or have the Prone condition and lose Concentration.

Posted Feb 27, 2025Shrinking the area-of-effect on the ground may be meant to offset the fact that spellcasters who fail the saving throw now automatically lose concentration, instead of getting to make a secondary saving throw to potentially avoid that part.

Posted Oct 30, 2025I am pretty sure that is just a typo in the text, because the summary at the top still says "Range 150ft (40 ft. cylinder)".
So, exactly the same as the old one.
