I'll always find it funny how this spell specifically calls out wish as something that explicitly doesn't work. Feels like it was written by a DM who was mad that the players asked if they could use a wish to learn info about someone.

Posted Dec 10, 2024I think it's more that Wish is sort of an unwritten asterisk next to most absolutes in the rules, so the writers are specifically eliminating the asterisk.
