With a sharp audible clap or snap, you magically teleport, swapping positions with a creature you can see within range. You and the target must be able to occupy each other’s spaces.
If a creature you swap would immediately be subjected to damage as a direct result of the new position (such as falling, spikes, or another hazard), that creature must make a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC. On a successful save, it takes half the resulting damage.
After you cast this spell, your speed is halved until the end of your next turn.
Reaction. You can cast this spell as a reaction when you or a creature within range is targeted by an attack or a spell, or when a creature you can see within range moves into or out of a space. The triggering effect resolves after the swap.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a 3rd-level spell slot or higher, you can choose two creatures you can see within range and swap their positions. You do not need to be one of the swapped creatures. When you swap two creatures and are not one of them, your speed is not halved.
