Slick coat of Ice covers the ground that freeze everything that touch in a 20-foot square centered on on a point with in range and turns it into difficult terrain for the duration.

When the ice appears, each creature standing in its area must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw. On a fail each creature take 2d8 Cold damage and it is restrained. Each turn that a creature end it's turn restrained by the ice it takes 1d8 Cold damage. A creature that enters the area or finish its turn in the area that is not restrained by the ice must also succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 2d8 Cold damage and fall prone. Each creature that saves take half damage and not fall prone .

A creature restrained by the Ice can use its action to make a Strength check against your spell save DC. If it succeeds, it break the ice and it is no longer restrained.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th or higher level, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 3rd.
