Choose a willing creature that you can see within range. Until the spell ends, the target’s speed is doubled, it gains a +2 bonus to AC, it has advantage on Dexterity saving throws, and it gains an additional action on each of its turns. That action can be used only to take the Attack (one weapon attack only), Dash, Disengage, Hide, or Use an Object action.
When the spell ends, the target can’t move or take actions until after its next turn, as a wave of lethargy sweeps over it.

Forgive me if I am wrong but Echo Knight + Action Surge + Haste lets you make twelve attacks for upwards of 24d6+60 (plus 36 if you have + 3 weapons) damage in around no? 140 damage in a round for up to two rounds for an average of about 300 damage in two rounds?"
No...I think the math is off. When you take the attack action, you get x weapon attacks with Extra Attack. At lvl 20, you would get 4. Action Surge for 4 more, but haste would only give you 1 more weapon attack. Echo says "Whenever you take the Attack action, you can make one additional melee attack from the echo’s position."
At this point it is Attack action (4) + Echo (1) + Action Surge Attack (4) + Echo (1) + Haste (1) (because its still the same turn)... Unless you take Pole arm master to add in another 2 bonus action attacks with the Action Surge for a total of 13.
So (1d10+4 (granted Str is 18) and +3 (magic weapon))x11 + (1d4+7)x2 = 11d10+2d4+99 or average of 159 in 1 round
What bundle is this under I cannot find it anywhere in my dnd5e online for my path of vengeance character
This turns my Warforged monk into a literal killing machine with machine gun fists
Action surge only allows for an additional action so you would therefore not get an additional bonus action to make a second polearm master attack
Ahhhh, very true... so minus 1d4+4(str mod)+3(mag wep)... which is an average of 9... so it takes it down to around 150 in a round. Not too bad... but then again, its 12 attack rolls.
Let's be real though, Its still insane for melee based attacks with chances to crit and potentially other stacking bonus from magic items or other spells. Oh and the 150 is a nice easy number to declare with a grin to the DM.
I am annoyed that HASTE doesn't give you a speed increase
You can use the Dash action, which increases your speed.
That's true, but what I meant was speed increase that IS NOT dash
The spell duplicates your speed, that is a big speed increase.
As I said.
The “Use an object action” is secretly the strongest aspect of this spell. Wands, potions, anything magical that requires an action to use are free game as a hasted action. Meaning wand of fireballs once as an action, then wand of fireballs again as a hasted action.
Good point!
I gave a ring of spell storing to my familiar as a bladesinger and fill it with haste. At the start of combat it casts it and then flies away, giving me all the benefits without any risk of the lethargy from lost concentration and also not taking up my concentration slot.
Rules as written u can actually stack several hastets on top of each other given u like an insane AC bonus and a redicules amaunt of extra attacks I mean I think that could be an interesting combo having several Spellcasters all casting haste on the fighter and him just destroying everything with his 4 attacks per second
Question: The round *after* the spell ends, when the recipient is "overcome by a wave of lethargy" and can't move or take actions... does that mean all "actions", or just "Action" (leaving the target a Bonus and a Reaction)?
Shouldn't Horizon Walker be on this list?
The Use an Object action is cant use a magic item its sad :(
Shouldn't this also have Horizon Walker ranger tag too?
Identical spells don't stack; they just overlap.
