Base Class: Paladin

The Oath of Shadows binds a Paladin to Shadows that Haunt them, The Bravery they have against the worst Dangers, The Willpower to always Strive to do their best, and The Calm demeanor they have in any scenario. These warriors are recognized as Folk Heroes, or even The White Knights Cursed by their Haunted Pasts. These Warriors Protect those who can´t protect themselves, Defend towns from Dangerous monsters, and help cleanse the Earth of its Impurities. Those who swear to this Oath follow Gods of the Twilight, Protection, or Calmness.

 

Tenets of Shadows

Though the exact words and strictures of the Oath of Shadows vary, paladins of this oath share these tenets.

Haunted. Cursed by your Past actions you bare the guilt of whats Happened so long ago.

Bravery. against fearful odds you can and will prevail, know this and your allies will as well.

Compassion. Aid others, protect the weak, and punish those who threaten them. Show mercy to your foes, but temper it with wisdom.

Willlpower. Even against the most Dangerous of Situations, You will always push through and break the boundaries that seperate you from everyone else.

Calmness. Be Calm, Be Content, and Be focused on the Tasks ahead, Even if you don´t enjoy it. You know it´s the right thing to do.

Eyes of the Dark

You gain the Option of 2 Senses, Blindsight of 10 ft. or Darkvision for 30 ft. Your eyes also gain this Greyish gradient.

if a race you pick has Blindsight or Darkvision, The Senses do not Stack upon one another. 

This Choice is Permanent!!!

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.

Phantom Plating. As a Bonus Action, You Encase your armor in a veil of Shadows. The Shadow barrier works like Temporary Hit Points, The Barrier has a set amount of health equal to 2 X Player Level + CON Modifier. It also grants a bonus of +1 to AC and you gain a Reaction that does as follows; When a creature makes an attack roll against you, roll a d4 and reduce the chance of getting hit as the shadows attempt to push away the Attack.

At 15th Lvl., The AC bonus becomes a +2, and the Reaction die Increases to a d6.

You can end this effect on your turn as part of any other action. Once a Turn passes after the Barrier breaks the effects go away so it gives some time for a little boost until the barrier breaks.

Shadow Creation. As a Bonus Action, You conjure up a Cylinder or Cube of Dark Light. 15 ft. Dim-light and 5 ft. Darkness in the Center. This can be placed anywhere you can see within 120 ft. and even if a Creature is occupying a Willing or Not. When you are in the Dark light, All smite damage dealt is necrotic and each attack deals an extra Smite damage die while in the Darkness. If a creature happens to leave the space, you can hit them with a ranged weapon attack and pull them back 15 ft. towards the Dark light. You also gain a +1 to all attack rolls while in the Dark light. The Dark light cylinder or cube can be moved 10 ft.

At 15th Lvl. The Speed you can move the Dark light increases to 20 ft. and the Sphere Grows to 20 ft. of Dim-light and 10 ft. of Darkness.

The Dark Light lasts for a minute or until you are knocked unconscious, or if it is taken down by You.

You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed.

Oath of Shadows Spells

Aura of Shadows

Starting at 7th level, you and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you are given a bonus of a 30 ft. range of Darkvision. while you are conscious.

At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet. and Darkvision Bonus increases to +60 ft. 

This allows you and your Allies to see through Magical Darkness aswel.

Clones from the Dark

You can Summon 1 Shadow clone 3 Times to help you out with Tasks in and Out of Combat. Out of Combat The Clone comes out and Helps you or any Ally(Within 60 Feet That you can See) with an Ability check by Giving you or them an Advantage on the Roll. In Combat, the Clone can be summoned and it helps guide your next set of Attacks Until the End of your Turn.

Only 1 Clone at a Time, and after they complete their Task they disappear. You can only Summon 3 of these a Short Rest.

Dark Redepmtion

At 20th level, as a Bonus Action, You can cover a surrounding area of 120ft. in Magical Darkness. While in the Darkness you can teleport effortlessly calculated by Double your Walking Speed. While this is active on one attack per turn You can hit a creature, they must make a CON save(DC 19) or have their vision Cut in half until the end of my Next Turn. If a Critical Hit is landed The vision of the Creature is cut all the way down to 10ft. This does not affect Blindsight.

This Lasts for 1 Minute or Until Knocked Unconscious or Taken Down.
