Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

The name Aether Born is a bit misleading, as Rogues of this subclass are made through excessive experimentation with raw magic. Assuming they survive the ordeal, these research subjects eventually learn to control the weave of magic infused into their blood, allowing them to travers battlefields with deadly efficiency.

Warp

At 3rd level you gain the ability to (as an action) throw your weapon in any direction up to 20ft and teleport to it. If your weapon already has the thrown property you may throw it up to it's long range, capped at 60ft. Engaged enemies still get opportunity attacks. This ability can be used a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus per short rest. Additional teleports may be used at the cost of one level of exhaustion per use.

Warp Strike

At level 3, warp may also be used in conjunction with a basic attack. On a hit the creatures takes an extra 1d6 Force damage. This damage increases to (2d6 at level 7) (3d6 at level 11) and (4d6 at level 15)

Aether Adept

Counter Warp

Your time on the battlefield has made you increasingly aware of incoming attacks. At Level 13, whenever an enemy makes a ranged attack or ranged spell attack against you, you may use your reaction to throw your weapon at them if they are in range. Make a contested attack roll against the triggering enemy, If you succeed you immediately teleport to them, avoiding the triggering attack and are able to make one melee attack against them. If you fail you are caught flatfooted and take max damage from the triggering attack.

Warping Critical

At Level 17, whenever you score a critical hit against a creature. You can immediately teleport to another creature in range and make another attack. This second attack can use sneak attack, even if it's already been used this turn.
