Monk
Base Class: Monk

Monks who follow the Way of the Dancer are dedicated to helping spread the emotion of love in the hopes of making the world a better place. While they are most well-known for their studies of lust and their practices therein, make no mistake, they are still monks. They are still masters of martial arts, and are utter terrors on the battlefield. Followers of the Way of the Dancer are masters of distraction, able to keep their enemies dazzled by their intricate dances before going in for the kill. It is said that their more experienced practitioners can even turn foes against one another with their charm and beguiling nature.

Bonus Proficiencies

When you take this tradition at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with the Performance and Persuasion skills, as well as proficiency with martial weapons and a musical instrument of your choice.

Alluring Gait

Starting at 3rd level, you learn to integrate your dances with your attacks. Whenever you use Flurry of Blows, your target must make a Wisdom Saving Throw against your Ki's Save DC. On a failed save, the target is Charmed. During this effect, they are compelled to keep you in their direct line of sight at all times, and, if they are not already, they feel compelled to move toward you until they are within 30 feet of you. They can repeat the save at the end of their turn, and the effect ends if they take any damage.

Love Like Fire

At 6th level, you learn to turn your foes against one another; when you use Patient Defense and are attacked, your attacker must make a Wisdom Saving Throw against your Ki's Save DC. On a failed save, the attacker must instead turn their attack on their nearest ally, moving toward those who are out of their direct reach. If their nearest ally is out of their reach entirely, the enemy must continue moving towards them until they are out of movement. Until the end of your next turn, any attacks against your attacker have advantage.

Seductress' Kiss

At 11th level, you gain the ability to manifest your ki into a form of physical affection to help heal your allies. As an action, you can spend a ki point to target an ally within 5-feet (melee) distance of you. You perform an act of affection (be it a kiss or otherwise), and from the effect, your ally regains 5d6 Hit Points. Additionally, they also have advantage on the next attack they make against an enemy. If you used Step of the Wind to reach your ally, you do not need to spend a ki point to use Seductress' Kiss.

Love Conquors All

At 17th level, you are able to manifest your love for your allies into its strongest form. During a Short or Long Rest, you can forego regaining your Ki Points. In exchange, any time an ally has to make a death saving throw between when you use this ability and your next Short or Long Rest, they have advantage. Additionally, if you watch an ally fall to 0 Hit Points, all your attacks until the end of your next turn have advantage.
