Monk
Base Class: Monk

Asura monks are closer to being bruisers than trained martial artists tapping into their darker emotions and using it with their understanding of ki to overpower and destroy anything and anyone foolish enough to get in their way of perfecting this path. their are only few asura monasteries due to their training style and even fewer disciples, most followers end up losing their lives to fellow students in the search to attain enlightenment in this tradition. the few that are able to reach the apex of this path, become true war gods, being able to completely break their opponents even mountains if they decide its in their way.

Asura's Embodiment

At 3rd level, your mastery of your ki allows you to summon the feral aura of your emotions. As a bonus action, you can spend 1 ki point to surround your body in a miasma of rage. When you do so, each creature that can see you within 10 feet must succeed on a wisdom saving throw or become frightened, they may repeat the saving throw at the start of each of their turns ending the effect on a success, this increases to 30 feet at 10th level.

For a number of rounds equal to your wisdom modifier (minimum 1), your aura grants you resistance to bludgeoning attacks, grants you advantage on intimidation skill checks as well as granting you temporary hit points equal to you wisdom and strength modifiers. You determine the arms' appearance, and it vanishes early if you are incapacitated or die.

While the aura is present, you gain the following benefits:

  • You can use your strength modifier in place of your Dexterity modifier when making Dexterity checks and Dexterity saving throws.
  • When an enemy hits you with a melee attack you can use your reaction to make one melee attack against the creature that hit you.
  • When you make an unarmed strike you deal additional damage equal to your wisdom modifier (minimum 1) in force damage.

Inner Destruction Palm

At 6th level, you gain the ability to channel your ki into roaring waves of energy. Immediately after you take the Attack action on your turn, you can spend 2 ki points to force energy into the creature. The target of the attack must succeed on a Strength saving throw, on a failed save the target has disadvantage on attack rolls until the end of your next turn and can only use half its movement speed.

Instinctive Defense

At 11th level, you gain the ability to augment your Body further with your ki. As a bonus action, you can expend up to 3 ki points to grant yourself one additional reaction until the start of your next turn. The attacks made using your reactions gain advantage and gain your strength modifier in additional force damage on successful hits. in Addition skill checks made with reactions during this time are done at advantage, and if you are mounted you may spend your reaction to remain mounted if an effect would force you to dismount.

Wrathful Strike

At 17th level, you have perfected your control of your emotions. when you take the attack action on your turn you may spend 5 ki points, doing so grants your strength and wisdom modifiers in force damage to your damage roll, on a missed attack you regain the expended ki points. you may spend additional ki point to add one of the following effects to your attack.

  • The creature must pass a strength saving throw, on a failed save the creature gains the grievous wound affliction, taking 2d10 force damage at the start of each of their turns, they may repeat the saving throw at the start of their turns to end the effect.
  • The creature must pass a constitution saving throw, on a failed save the creature is blinded and deafened and moves at half speed for a number of rounds equal to your strength modifier.
  • The creature must pass a dexterity saving throw, on a failed save the creature's movement speed (including burrowing, nonmagical flying, and swimming) is reduced to 0, attacks made against this creature have advantage. the creature may repeat the saving throw at the start of each of its turns to end the effect.
