Monks of the Way of the Dancer train to deliver their blows with absolute grace and precision.
Bonus Proficiencies
At 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the Performance skill if you don’t already have it. You also gain proficiency with one musical instrument of your choice.
Glissade
Starting at 3rd level, difficult terrain no longer costs you extra movement.
Apprentice's Critical
Starting at 6th level, your Martial Arts attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20.
Choreography
At 11th level, you can spend 2 ki points to gain one of the following benefits:
- Adagio: When you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, it’s speed becomes 0 for the rest of the turn.
- Battement: When you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, it must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone.
- Contretemps: You gain advantage on your Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check to escape from being grappled. On a success, you gain an opportunity attack on the creature who attempted to grapple you.
Principal's Critical
At 17th level, your Martial Arts attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 18-20. Additionally, you can spend 1 to 10 ki points to increase the extra damage by 1d10 per ki point spent.
