Monk
Base Class: Monk

Offensive Energy / Ki Blast / Spirit Gun
You gain the ability to fire bolts of condensed ki. You gain a ranged spell Attack that you can use with the Attack action. The Attack has a range of 30 feet. You are proficient with it, and you add your Dexterity modifier to its Attack and Damage Rolls. Its damage is radiant, and its damage die is a d4. This die changes as you gain monk levels, as shown in the Martial Arts column of the Monk table.
When you use the Attack action on Your Turn to use this Special Attack, you can spend 1 ki point to make two additional attacks with it as a Bonus Action

Concentration
At 6th level, you gain the ability to draw upon the wellspring of your soul to invigorate the ki within you. You may use an Action to regain a number of Ki Points equal to a roll of your Martial Arts die plus your Wisdom Modifier. A flaming aura surrounds you as this energy rises from within that illuminates 5ft of bright light and an additional 10ft of dim light. Harmless tremors rumble from you and spread up to 60ft away. You may only use this feature once per Long Rest.
Additionally, your martial prowess has evolved your fighting style into a superior art of war. Your Ki Features are improved into newfound techniques, as described below:

  • Barrage of Blows (Formerly Flurry of Blows)
Immediately after you take the Attack action on Your Turn, you can spend 1 ki point to make two unarmed strikes as a Bonus Action. If both unarmed strikes land successfully, you may make an additional third strike.
  • Impenetrable Defense (Formerly Patient Defense)
You can spend 1 ki point to take the Dodge action as a Bonus Action on Your Turn. Additionally, you gain resistance to all forms of damage you suffer until the start of your next turn.
  • Vanishing Step (Formerly Step of the Wind)
You can spend 1 ki point to take the Disengage or Dash action as a Bonus Action on Your Turn, and your jump distance is doubled for the turn.
You may alternatively spend 2 Ki Points to teleport to a location within range of your movement speed. Upon doing so, your movement halts for the remainder of your turn. The range of teleportation is affected by the Dash action

Enlightenment
At 11th level, your mastery over life energy has allowed you to intensify the complexity of your ki-based attacks. You use an Action to expend 1 Ki Point to fire a 30ft-long, 5ft wide beam of condensed ki. Any creature or object caught within the attack will suffer damage equal to a single roll of your Martial Arts dice plus your Wisdom Modifier. You may also expend Ki Points to further empower this blast. For every additional Ki Point spent, the width and length of this attack increase by 5ft. Additionally, the damage increases by another roll of your Martial Arts dice for every Ki Point used.
Additionally, your expanded understanding of Ki has allowed you to manipulate its influence over yourself and the realm around you to an enhanced degree. The following Ki Features are improved into newfound forms, as described below:

  • Rapid Ascension (Formerly Slow Fall)
You can use your Reaction when you fall to reduce any Falling damage you take by an amount equal to five times your monk level.
You may additionally spend 4 Ki Points to cast Fly.
  • Dazing Strike (Formerly Stunning Strike)
You can interfere with the flow of ki in an opponent’s body. When you hit another creature with a Melee Weapon Attack, you can spend 1 ki point to attempt a Stunning Strike. The target must succeed on a Constitution or Wisdom saving throw or be Stunned until the end of your next turn.
  • Resonance of Mind (Formerly Stillness of Mind)
You can use your action to end one effect on yourself that is causing you to be Charmed or Frightened.
Also, you may expend any number of Ki Points to attune your senses to the precise emissions of life energy that exists in all creatures. For each Ki Point spent, you may detect if any of the following types of Creatures are present within a number of miles equal to the Ki Points exhausted for this feature: Aberrations, Celestials, Dragons, Elementals, Fey, and Fiends. This feature only reveals the relative direction towards the creature from you, but not its precise location or the exact number of creatures detected. If you attempt to locate a creature you are familiar with, the range of detection is lengthened to the full extent of the plane and their precise location can be ascertained. Creatures who are protected from Divination magic cannot be sensed by this feature.
