Base Class: Monk

The way of the Carrot and Stick centers around positive and negative conditioning, to influence the world and especially it's inhabitants towards the greater good. Whatever that may be...

Carrot and Stick

When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you gain, as a bonus action, the ability to encourage your party members towards certain actions by rewarding them with a bonus on their attack roll or skill check equal to your your martial arts die plus your wisdom modifier at the cost of 1 ki point.

Furthermore as a reaction you can discourage enemies by reducing an attack roll or saving throw by your martial arts die plus your wisdom modifier at the cost of 1 ki point.

Polite Hesitance

When you successfully hit with an unarmed attack you can discourage your enemy to attack by imposing disadvantage on it's next attack. You can only do this once per turn.

Mastery of Caution

Beginning at 11th level your psychological impact on your enemies is so overwhelming that you no longer trigger opportunity attacks when you're moving away from them. Also when they move away from you, disengaging does not prevent an opportunity attack from you and if you hit their movement is reduced to 0.

Touch of Timidity

As an action you can spend 5 ki points to temporarily end all aggression in an enemy. It must make a wisdom saving throw against your DC. If it fails it can take no hostile actions against you or your party members for 1 minute.
