Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

These fighters excel in fast paced, single combat. They dash around their enemies, making quick wide attacks as they go, and forgo any attempts to block attacks for the more suitable option of dodging.

Quick Strikes

Beginning when you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you may use dexterity instead of strength whenever you make an attack roll or roll damage for a weapon that deals slashing damage which you are proficient with. You have to be wielding the weapon in one hand and have nothing in your other hand for this feature to work.

When you make a Quick Strike attack, you may take a -5 to the roll to add one of the following effects if the attack hits, as you can try to hit a more vital part of their body:

  • You add 10 to the damage
  • The creature is blinded until the end of their next turn. This feature does not work if the creature does not have eyes or has more than one set.

Master Evader

You have become proficient in dodging enemy attacks. Add your dexterity bonus to your armor class a second time as long as you are not incapacitated.

Expert Duelist

Starting at 7th level, if you are within 5 feet of a creature up to one size larger than you and there are no other creatures within 5 feet of you, you have advantage on attack rolls against that creature.

Exploit weakness

Starting at 15th level, whenever you strike an enemy with an attack that does slashing damage, their armor class is reduced by 1d6 + 1 for the rest of your turn.

Swift hands

At 18th level, you have bolstering dexterity when it comes to weapon attacks. When you take the attack action, you can attack an additional attack. You can use a bonus action to take the attack action with a weapon effected by Quick Strikes.
