Monk
Base Class: Monk

Originally created by the leader of a hidden village, the Way of the Yellow Flash is a monastic tradition focusing on lightning speed movement, and an incredible capability to avoid damage.

Markers

Starting at 3rd level, you gain the ability to mark objects and people with an impression of your Ki. As a bonus action, or as a part of an unarmed strike, you can place a marker on an object or person that you are touching. You can have a number of markers equal to double your proficiency bonus, and they only disappear if you decide to dismiss one or all of them as a bonus action. If you place a marker when you have already placed the maximum amount, you choose which existing marker is dismissed.

Yellow Flash

The signature technique of monks who practice this tradition. As a bonus action, you can teleport to a marker within range, this range equals your walking speed. You may spend a Ki point as part of this bonus action in order to make an unarmed attack against a creature within reach of your marker after you teleport there.

Reactive Flash

When you are forced to make a saving throw from a spell or magical effect, you can spend your reaction and 1 Ki point to teleport to a marker within range (Distance equal to walking speed). If this puts you outside the range of the spell, you are unaffected by it.

Formation Flash

You can spend 5 Ki points to cast the Teleport spell, with the destination being one of your markers. For the purposes of the spell, your marker counts as a permanent teleportation circle. Once you cast the spell in this way, you cannot do so until you complete a long rest.

Blinding Flash

As an action, spend a number of Ki points up to the amount of Markers you currently have active. You quickly teleport between markers of your choice up to the amount of Ki points spent, and can make a melee weapon attack or unarmed strike against a creature within reach of each marker (One attack per Ki spent). After teleporting and attacking, you return to the space you occupied at the start of your turn.
