Monk
Base Class: Monk

The essence of the style is about dodging, pinning, redirecting. The most famous practitioner, Hatsumi Sen, embodies the style perfectly. Incredibly powerful at its peak, but unable to do much when not.

3- Bonus Proficiencies

Your skill in the Floating Cloud Style grants you skills in slight of hand and medicine.

You also gain proficiency in a playing card set.

3- Center of Attention

The bread and butter of the style is to goad and counter your opponent.

Spend an action to goad your opponent, choosing one enemy within your sight, and prepare your counter. Your goading forces them to make a wisdom saving throw, which if failed, gives them disadvantage on attack rolls on others except you, for until it is your turn again.

If an enemy misses their attack roll against you, you may use a reaction and a ki point to make 3 unarmed strikes:  "Gathering Clouds: Triple Strike"

Every turn you choose not to directly attack your opponent, you regain a ki point.

You cannot regain ki points while goading your opponent.

6- Under Their Spell

Your skill in the techniques are improving, your confidence and perfect reactions throwing enemies off their game. You can now add your charisma modifier to your Armor Class.

Instead of using Gathering clouds, you could knock an enemy prone after they miss an attack, countering their strike with a move called the Hundred meetings throw.  This attack will do 4d6+ Dex modifier damage.

Another move you may make after the enemy misses their attack on you is a grapple, pinning down one of their limbs. If the grapple succeeds, on your next turn,  you can break their bone, doing 2d8+dex, and halving their movement speed.

11- The Limiting Line

Passing the limiting line allows you to spend 2 ki points on a successful hit upon you, to increase your AC by your Dexterity modifier. This will last until your next turn. This also costs your reaction, and you cannot attack after using this ability.

17- Peak Condition

As an action you spend 4 ki points, using the Stardrop. Roll an unarmed strike with your dex bonus and charisma bonus,  if successfully landed, paralyzing the opponent and knocking the target prone. Opponent would have to make a con save in order to avoid the paralysis.  The paralysis would last for one round. The attack does a total of 4d12 damage + Dex modifier. If the con save is passed, damage is halved, and no paralysis takes place, however, they are still knocked prone.
