Monk
Base Class: Monk

Way of the Wind

You have always longed for the freedom to move as swiftly and freely as the wind. You learn to harness the power of the wind from meditation on tall mountains, and flat plains, a wind master, or at a secluded monastery. You learn to use the wind to your advantage, manipulating it to give you a variety of movements, including upwards.

Wind Speed

At 3 level, you learn how to twist and turn quickly as part of your Flurry of Blows. Whenever you use Flurry of Blows, you gain the benefits of the Disengage action for the next 10 feet

Cloudburst

You can cast the Fog Cloud using 2 ki points. You also learn the Gust cantrip.

Tailwind

At 6 level you learn that air is the element of freedom. You learn to use your opponents’ energy against them. When an enemy makes an attack against you that would hit, you can use your reaction to expend 1 ki point to propel yourself 10 feet in any direction, provided the space is unoccupied causing the attack to miss. If the movement causes you to exit an enemy’s melee range, they cannot take an attack of opportunity, but if it takes you out of melee range from other enemies, they can take an attack of opportunity against you.

Blade Storm

At 11 level, you further your mastery of the winds, and you summon five throwing knives. The knives are held aloft around you by the wind, leaving your hands free to attack as normal. Blade Storm has two methods of attack

  • Single Fire – Throw knives one by one, one knife is one attack. Make an attack roll for each knife. The knives are considered monk weapons for you and are considered ranged weapons with a range of 60 feet. and each knife scales in damage equal 2 of your martial die.
  • Burst Fire – Throw up to a maximum of (5) of the Blade Storm’s knives, using an action to use. One creature within 60 feet. must make a Dexterity Saving Throw, taking 10 of the martial die in piercing damage on a failed save and half as much on a successful save, as the fives knives go flying forward with terrifying accuracy, piercing everything in their way.

Blade Storm: Recharge

At 17 level Blade Storm recharges back to 5 knives when a knife is used to kill a creature.

Wind Tunnel

After taking the attack action you can use 3 ki points to pull a large or smaller creature up to your movement speed towards you and make an attack as a bonus action. If it is an unarmed strike, it knocks them back 10 feet after.

Tailwind

At 6th level, you can use the wind to propel yourself in a direction by 10 feet. Using your reaction, you can move 10 feet in any direction, provided that the space has no enemies. Doing so causes an attack to miss. If the movement causes you to exit an enemy's melee range, they cannot take an attack of opportunity, but if it takes you out of melee range for other enemies, they can take an attack of opportunity.

Blade Storm
