Bard
Base Class: Bard

Bards are most commonly recognized for their creation. To make art, and to inspire others. Bards of the College of Rock are no different, though their means could be considered... unconventional. After all, what could inspire your allies in battle more than you smacking your enemy with a guitar?

Bonus Proficiencies

3rd level College of Rock feature

Your penchant for stealing the spotlight and staying at the frontlines necessitates some degree of protection. You gain proficiency with medium armor and martial weapons.

Instrument of Destruction

3rd level College of Rock feature

Your music rebels against the laws of reality. Choose a melee weapon that you are proficient with that does not have the special property and an instrument that you are proficient with. The weapon and instrument meld into a single instrument, while retaining all their original properties. If they have any bonuses, they do not stack. When you attack with that weapon, you can use your Charisma modifier, instead of Strength or Dexterity, for the attack and damage rolls. You cannot be disarmed of this weapon and can dismiss it as a bonus action, shunting it into an extradimensional space, and it appears in your hands when you use a bonus action to summon it. You can choose a new Instrument of Destruction by performing a 1-hour long ritual over an existing instrument.

Aria of Power

3rd level College of Rock feature

People marvel at the strength and power your voice holds. Beginning from 3rd level, you learn to manipulate your voice with certain techniques that lend you a magical edge in battle, known as Arias. You learn three Arias of your choice from the options below. Every time you use an Aria, you expend one use of your Bardic Inspirations. You can use only one Aria per turn. The target of the Aria must be able to hear you for the effect to take place. If an Aria requires a saving throw, its DC is equal to your Bard DC. Unless stated otherwise in the Aria's description, if you are concentrating on a spell, you must make a concentration save before using an Aria, the DC of which is equal to 5+the spell slot consumed for the spell.

You learn two additional Arias at level 6 and another two at level 14.

Accelerando

You can use your bonus action to give one target of your choice within 30 ft. of you (including yourself) the effects of the Haste spell till the start of your next turn.

Accuratezza

When you or an ally within 30 ft. of you misses with an attack, you can use your reaction to roll a bardic die and add the result to the attack roll, making it potentially hit.

Amore

When you cast a spell that charms a creature, you can use your bonus action to lower their immunity to charm effects to resistance, and resistance to charm effects to no resistance.

Bellicoso

When you take the attack action and use your Instrument of Destruction, you can use your reaction to make one ally within 30 ft. of you use their reaction to attack the target of your attack.

You can use your bonus action to hide, and when you make the stealth check you roll a bardic die and add it to the check.

Bravura

You can use your bonus action to end the Frightened condition on one ally within 30 ft. of you and give them temporary hit points equal to one roll of your bardic die.

Decelerando

You can use your bonus action to force a target within 30 ft. of you to make a Charisma save. On a failure, they are under the effects of the Slow spell till the start of your next turn.

Discordia

You can use your action to make a harsh noise. A number of creatures of your choice up to your Charisma modifier within 30 ft. of you must succeed on a Charisma save or become annoyed and have disadvantage on attack rolls against all targets other than you.

Encore

When you or an ally within 30 ft. of you scores a critical hit, you can use your reaction to deal additional thunder damage to the critical hit's target equal to one roll of your bardic die + your bard level.

When you fail an ability check or saving throw, you can use your reaction to roll a bardic die and add the result to your check or saving throw, potentially turning it to a success.

Lontano

When you or an ally within 30 ft. of you makes a ranged attack, you can use your reaction to double the range of the attack.

Mancando

As an action, you can cast the spell Gentle Repose without spending a spell slot. The effects of this spell last only for an hour.

Presstissimo

Extra Attack

6th level College of Rock feature

Your speed and versatility in striking chords has increased. Starting from level 6, you can attack twice instead of once when taking the attack action. Additionally, you can replace one of these attacks with a bard cantrip.

Siren of Rebellion

Your body and spirit are one, embodying the soul of your music. Starting at level 14, when you are struck by an attack you can use your reaction to deal your bardic die in thunder damage to the attacker.
