Base Class: Monk
Some people really dislike firearms. They prefer the punchy-punchies. Well... they need not be separated. The monks that follow the Way of the Gunner effortlessly combine their blows with their bullets.
Gun-Fu
3rd level Way of the Gunner feature
When you choose this tradition, you gain proficiency in firearms. However, the range of all firearms you use is reduced to 10 ft. with a long range of 30 ft. Being within 5 ft. of your target does not impose disadvantage on your ranged attacks.
When you use a firearm to take the Attack action, you can use your bonus action to make an unarmed strike or use your Flurry of Blows feature. Alternatively, when you make unarmed strikes as your Attack action, you can use your bonus action to make one ranged attack with a firearm.
Crouch Fire
6th level Way of the Gunner feature
You have advantage on your attack rolls instead of disadvantage when you willingly go prone. Additionally, when you make an attack while prone, you can use one ki point to force the target to make a Strength saving throw. On a failed save, your damage for that attack is reduced by one roll of your martial die (minimum of 1), however, the target falls prone.
Dodge Roll!!!
6th level Way of the Gunner feature
When you use your Patient Defense feature, you can additionally move a distance equal to half your walking speed in the form of a roll. You do not expend movement when moving this way, and also you do not provoke attacks of opportunity. You can then choose to either stand or go prone at the end of this movement.
Ki-Infused Bullets
11th level Way of the Gunner feature
You can now use your Stunning Strike feature with your firearm attacks. Additionally, as a free action you can spend up to 3 ki points to grant an additional bonus to the attack rolls of your firearm and unarmed strikes for one minute, for a +1 bonus for each ki point. If the weapon is magical, you can only increase the bonus to a maximum of +3.
Bullet Time
11th level Way of the Gunner feature
Time dilates for you while in combat, letting you dodge attacks effortlessly. You can spend 4 ki points to change your AC to 10 + 2 times your Dexterity Modifier + your Wisdom modifier when unarmored and not wielding a shield. Additionally, you have advantage on dexterity saves. Also, enemies can't gain advantage on attack rolls against you during this period and your unarmed strikes and firearm attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20.
Deus Ex Machina
17th level Way of the Gunner feature
If you are wielding a one-handed firearm and have a second one-handed firearm, you can draw the second firearm and fire it as well. For one minute, you become hyper-focused, and can replace all of your unarmed strikes with firearm attacks. Taking the attack action uses your main hand firearm, and taking attacks using your bonus action uses your offhand firearm. You can add your ability modifier to the offhand firearm's damage rolls. You gain the ability to reload both your firearms without having a free hand in this period. Once you use this feature, it cannot be used again till a short rest.
