Base Class: Monk

This style was founded initially by a secluded group of seafaring cooks to defend themselves without risk of harming their precious hands, as hurting them would be disastrous to their occupation. However, this style has been adapted to other highly dedicated artisans with hands-on crafts. The style is based on honing the user’s legs to the absolute limit, utilising acrobatic maneuvers and strong kicks to dispatch their enemies.

Implements of the Artisan

You gain proficiency in the Acrobatics and Survival skills if you did not have them already. You also gain proficiency in any type of Tool of your choosing. 

Black Legs

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain access to powerful techniques via using your legs in innovative ways.

Techniques: You learn three techniques of your choice, as well as an additional technique every 2 levels. These are listed under “Techniques” below, and are used to enhance the user’s unarmed strikes. These techniques all cost Ki to use. You can only use one Technique per attack action, and these techniques must be performed with the user’s legs, not any other body part.

Saving Throw: Some Techniques require a saving throw. The DC for these purposes is 8 + Proficiency Bonus + Either Strength or Dexterity

Anti-Manner Kick Course

Upon using the attack action, the user can expend 2 Ki to deal an additional 2 martial die of bludgeoning damage as well as adding any modifiers such as Diable Jambe. They also force the target to take a strength saving throw. On a fail, the target is launched 15ft straight upwards into the air.

Bouquetiere Shot

If the user is prone, they can expend 1 Ki to immediately perform an attack to the nearest target within 5ft. Regardless of hitting, the user returns to their feet without expending any movement.

Collier

When using the attack action, the user can expend 1 Ki to deal an additional 1 martial arts die bludgeoning damage as well as adding any modifiers such as Diable Jambe on hit.

Concasser

If the user is directly above their target and uses their attack action, the user can expend 3 Ki to deal an extra 3 martial arts die bludgeoning damage to the target as well as adding any modifiers such as Diable Jambe.

Epaule

Upon using the attack action, the user can expend 1 Ki to force the target to take a Dexterity saving throw. If failed, the target is knocked prone.

Mouton Shot

Upon using the attack action, the user can expend 1 Ki to knock the target 10-15 ft backwards. If they collide with a wall or other object, they are forced to take a Dexterity saving throw. If failed, the target takes bludgeoning damage equal to the user’s martial arts dice.

Party Table Kick Course

For their Attack action, the user can expend 2 Ki to force every creature in a 10ft radius to make a Dexterity saving throw. If failed, the target takes 2 martial arts die bludgeoning damage as well as adding any modifiers such as Diable Jambe.

Reception

Upon using the attack action, the user can expend 1 Ki to force the target to take a Strength saving throw. If they fail, the user is able to drag the target 5 feet in any direction.

Slice Shoot

Upon using the attack action, the user can expend 2 Ki to attempt to disarm a target. The target must succeed a Strength Saving Throw or they are forced to drop one held object of the user’s choice.

Troisieme Hachis

Upon using their attack action, the user can expend 1 Ki to travel up to half the user’s walking speed towards a chosen target before rolling to hit.

Diable Jambe

The user, through air friction from their strong kicks, is capable of setting one or both of their legs on fire for a short time. As a bonus action, the user sets their leg ablaze gaining an extra 1d8 (Increasing to 2d6 at level 11 and 4d6 at level 17) fire damage to their unarmed strikes or Techniques until the end of their next turn. The user can call on Diable Jambe 2 + Constitution Modifier every short rest.

You also additionally gain a resistance to fire damage.

Skywalk

The user has developed the ability to propel themselves through the air via kicking the air with incredible force and almost jumping off the air itself. The user gains a flying speed equal to half their walking speed, and can fly like this for minutes equal to their Constitution Modifier. Flying after that time will give the user a point of exhaustion for each subsequent minute.

Ifrit Jambe

The user has mastered the Diable Jambe, allowing their body to take far hotter flames. Diable Jambe now lasts up to 5 minutes and can be activated an unlimited amount of times. As well as this, the user has obtained a complete immunity to fire damage.
