Monk
Base Class: Monk

Lovely and deadly, a dancer is a nimble fighter, able to dodge attacks and move through the battlefield while drawing the attention of all who see them.

Bonus Proficiencies

When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the Performance skill if you don’t already have it. Your martial arts technique mixes combat training with the precision and grace of a dancer, allowing you to add your dexterity modifier to any performance check involving dancing.

Battle Dance

You move elegantly through the battlefield, your every move purposeful, precise.

On your turn, you may begin to dance as a bonus action.  While dancing, you gain a +1 bonus to AC, and advantage of saving throws against being restrained, paralyzed, knocked prone, petrified, stunned or pushed.  You gain advantage on contested rolls against being grappled.  While dancing, if you spend your full movement and are not hit by any of the attacks of opportunity, you can spend 1 ki point to give advantage to your next unarmed strike or melee attack with a martial weapon. Additionally, a martial weapon wielded by you gains the finesse property while dancing.

Your dance ends if you end your turn and have not moved since the beginning of your previous turn, or when you become unconscious, restrained, paralyzed, knocked prone, petrified, stunned, grappled or are pushed.

You may not dance on difficult terrain without passing a DC 15 Acrobatics check.

You may dance a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per short rest.

At level 8, you learn the Blade Dance and the Flame Dance techniques.

Blade Dance
When you use your Flurry of Blows ability while dancing, you may spend an addition Ki point to begin your Blade Dance. . Instead of unarmed strikes, you may use a martial weapon that deals piercing or slashing damage to make an equal number of melee attacks.  The Flame Dance ability does not provide any bonus to these attacks.

 Flame Dance
When you begin to dance, you may spend 1 ki point to engulf your hands and feet in flame.  Your unarmed strikes now deal fire damage, and an extra martial die on a successful hit.

At level 12,  your skill with dancing allows you to dance on difficult terrain, and doing so ignores the movement penalty.

At level 16, you may make another unarmed strike when you take the attack action with your unarmed strike or melee attack with a melee weapon without using your bonus action to do so.

At level 20, your Flurry of Blows increases by two strikes, for a total of four.

Tango

Starting at 6th level, you gain the Mobile feat.

Alluring

You draw attention from those around you.  While dancing, hostile creatures must succeed on a Charisma saving throw against your Ki DC or have disadvantage against attacks made on those other than you if you are within range of their movement.  This save takes place after the creature has chosen the target of their attack.  Extra attacks do not require a separate save if they are part of the attack action, but attacks made with a bonus action require a new save.

Like a Butterfly

As a bonus action, you face a creature who you can see, and who can see you, and begin to dance.  That creature must succeed on a charisma saving throw using your Ki dc or become charmed by you for ten minutes or until it takes damage.  You may use this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.
