Tenets of Monks of the Windy Steppes

Peace: Wartime should never be sought after, nor should it cause pleasure or satisfaction

Charity: Those who have little are always welcome to shelter and food from a Windy Steppes temple

Pacifism: Fighting other creatures should only be done in self defence or defence of the innocent

Form of the Gale

At third level, you learn the gust cantrip. In addition, your long and high jump distances increase by 10ft and you gain proficiency in acrobatics. If you already have proficiency, you gain expertise instead.

Leaping Strike

Once per turn, if you have moved at least 10ft towards a target, you may spend a ki point to jump 10ft as you pass over their space as an action. During this jump you may make a melee attack against the target and you gain the effects of the disengage action for the duration of the jump. This jump doesn’t cost movement speed.

Warding Winds

Once per turn, when you use your flurry of blows, you can choose to give yourself a +2 to your AC until your next turn, provided you don’t move after the strikes. You can use this ability as many times as up to your proficiency bonus, and gain all uses back on a long rest.

Tornado Strike

Once per turn, when you hit an enemy with your leaping strike or flurry of blows attack, you may choose to have them make a strength saving throw against your Ki save dc. On a fail, the target gains disadvantage on melee attacks against you and one ally of your choice within 5 feet of the enemy until your next turn.

Master of Gales

As a bonus action, you may spend 4 ki points to gather the wind around you to your call. For the next 10 minutes, you gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed and may take the dash and flurry of blows actions as bonus action on your turn without using ki points, and the leaping strike action without using ki points. In addition, whenever you use your warding winds in this form you may choose to grant the bonus to a creature within 5 feet of you instead, lasting until the start of your next turn or until they move.
