Base Class: Monk
Ancestral Magic Monks are martial artists who have unlocked the ancient secrets of combining physical prowess with mystical energies passed down through their bloodlines. they harness their innate magical abilities to protect themselves and their allies, all while delivering devastating blows to their foes.
Blind Eyes Magic
Starting at 3rd level, you gain the ability to perceive magical energy around you with "Blind Eyes." You can use your action to cast the Detect Magic spell without expending a spell slot. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once) and regain all expended uses after a short or long rest.
Infinite Barrier Technique
Starting at 6th level, you learn to create magical protection barriers. When you or an ally within 30 feet of you takes damage from an attack or magical effect, you can use your reaction and expend 1 ki point to reduce that damage by half. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once) and regain all expended uses after a short or long rest.
Red and Blue Technique
Starting at 11th level, you master the Red and Blue Technique, allowing you to manipulate red and blue energy like Satoru Gojo. You can spend 3 ki points to cast either the Red Technique or the Blue Technique, your choice:
- Red Technique:
You conjure a reversal energy in an area of your choice up to 15 feet from you, dealing 2d8 of bludgeoning damage in an area of effect and pushing affected targets up to 15 feet away from you.Targets affected by the Red Technique in a 10-foot radius on all sides must make a Strength saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier) to resist being pushed
- Blue Technique: Creates a defensive barrier that blocks the passage of non-magical projectiles. The barrier is 15 feet high and 15 feet wide and blocks all conventional projectile attacks, such as arrows, crossbow bolts, thrown rocks, etc. However, magical projectile attacks or attacks with magical effects are not blocked by the barrier. The barrier lasts for 1 minute or until destroyed (hit points equal to 10 times your monk level).
When someone comes within 15 feet of the Blue Technique, they must make a Strength saving throw or be pulled toward its center and have their movement speed halved. Once a target successfully saves against this effect, they are not required to make additional saving throws for the remainder of the combat.
Energy Dominator
Starting at 17th level, you become a true master of magical energy. When you make an unarmed or melee weapon attack, you can spend 2 ki points to increase the damage of the attack by 2d10 force damage. Additionally, you can spend 4 ki points to cast the "Total Destruction" spell once per long rest, creating a powerful burst of magical energy around you.
