Monk
Base Class: Monk

Monks of the Way of the Parry Excel in using their opponents attacks against them. They learn to use their "Deflect Missiles" in entirely new ways, manipulating their ki to deflect stronger and stronger attacks, and master their surroundings.

Deflection Prowess

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can manipulate a deflected missile with haste and precision. Whenever you deflect using your "Deflect Missiles", you may expend any number of ki points to add that many d6 (d8 at 7th level, d10 at 11th level, d12 at 15th level) onto your roll to reduce the damage. You decide the amount of ki points to expend after being told the amount of damage you're going to take, but before you roll your main d10.

If you use at least one Ki point to add an extra die to your roll using this feature, and you successfully reduce the damage to 0, it costs no extra Ki points to make that attack roll using that missile.

When you make an attack roll using a missile caught using "Deflect Missile", you may make your attack roll using the range of the original attack used against you, if you choose to.

Unarmed Parry

At 6th level, your Expertise in deflecting attacks becomes much stronger. You may trigger your "Deflect Missiles" roll on melee weapon attacks (Includes non-weapon, non-spell melee attacks at 9th level). If you successfully reduce the damage to 0, you can only attack the enemy that originally made the attack that was deflected.

Anti-Magic Deflection

Your "Deflect Missiles" ability can now also be used against Spell Attack rolls. (Both Ranged and Melee) This ability can not be used on Spells that require you to make a saving throw. Only Spells that roll to hit against your AC.

If you successfully reduce the damage from that attack to 0, you can cast that same spell at anyone within range of the spell, using the proficiencies/bonuses of the original caster.

Efficient Deflection

At 17th level, you feel the flow of enemy attacks before they even hit you. You gain a second reaction per round that may only be used to trigger "Deflect Missiles"

Empowered Parry

When making an attack roll using a missile/attack deflected by your "Deflect Missiles" ability, you may add 2d10 to the damage dealt by that attack.
